Seabron Adamson is a vice president and leads the global energy disputes and regulatory segment in CRA’s Energy Practice.

He has significant experience in energy-related disputes, covering a wide range of sectors including electric power, renewable energy, natural gas/LNG, and oil and refined products pipelines, storage, and distribution. This has included testimony on both liability and damages aspects of energy disputes. Mr. Adamson has testified extensively in international arbitration matters as well as in major US and Canadian arbitrations. He has also testified extensively in US state and federal court cases and advised clients on energy sector merger and competition issues in the United States, the European Union, and Canada.

Mr. Adamson also advises clients on investments in the energy sector, with a recent focus on large renewable energy projects such as wind farms and photovoltaic (PV) solar power plants.

Mr. Adamson was previously an energy analyst for a major international hedge fund, focusing on the natural gas and power sectors, and co-founder of a major international economic consulting group. In addition to his consulting work with CRA, Mr. Adamson is a part-time faculty member at the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and the co-author of a textbook on renewable energy finance and economics. He previously taught classes on energy finance, risk management and trading at Tulane University.

Mr. Adamson holds an MA in Economics from Boston University, an MS in Technology and Policy from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MS and BS in Physics from Georgia Tech.
